The webinar will focus on giving the students their first glimpse to the world of Robotics and Robotic Simulations. The participant will learn about the basic laws of robotics, various Robot type and rules which govern the field of Robotics. The webinar will include topics on basics of the Robotic Simulation Software “Workspace LT” and practice Excersises.
3rd International Conference and Exhibition on Fatigue, Durability and Fracture Mechanics & Symposium on Condition Assessment / Residual Life Assessment and Extension 29-31st August 2019 at VTU Belgaum
This International Conference & Exhibition will bring industrial experts and academicians to a single platform & facilitate the exchange of ideas and advancements in the field of fatigue , durability and fracture mechanical failure and its applications.
The Conference focuses on the covering wide spectrum of topics from design, engineering, testing and computational evaluation of the component / system for fatigue, durability and fracture mechanics aspects. There will be a forum of interdisciplinary discussion on working aspects related to material testing, evaluation of damage, NDT, failure analysis, FEM analysis, fatigue & fracture, processing, performance, reliability and so on. Participants are encouraged to bring their queries, problems and pose to the expert panel and derive the solution

Digital Manufacturing
A one day, International workshop on “Digital Manufacturing” in association with DMG MORI JAPAN and ESPRIT USA was organized by Department of Product Design and Manufacturing, Center for Post graduate Studies, VTU, Belagavi on 11th May 2017. Faculty members from various engineering institutions, Research Scholars, Industrialists and UG & PG students from various colleges attended the workshop. Resource person was Mr. Dan Frayssinet DP Technology USA, Mr. Jan Moellenhoff DMG MORI & Mr. Elango S Galaxy Machinery Belgaum.
Mechanics of Machines (TEQIP)
Five days, TEQIP-1.3 Sponsored Faculty Enrichment Program on “Mechanics of Materials” organized under TEQIP cell by Department of Product Design and Manufacturing, Centre for Post Graduate Studies, VTU Belagavi from 23rd-27th July 2018. Faculty members from various engineering institutions, Research Scholars from various colleges attended the workshop. Resource persons were Prof C.S.Manohar, IISC Benagluru, Prof D.B.Patil, Jain college of Engineering Belagavi, Prof Satish Annigeri, Registrar (Evaluation), VTU Belagavi and Prof G.C.Mohankumar, NIT, Surathkal.
