Constituent College of VTU Chintamani is a ConstituentEngineering College established under Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi in the year 2024.It is located in Chintamani Town and Chikkaballapur Dt. It is 40 km far from Chikkaballpur District Centre and 78 KM from Bengaluru, Capital City of Karnataka State. Chintamani is one of the well planned and developed town in district of Chikkaballapur. Chintamani is named for gold, silver trade, tomatoes, mangoes, snacks and ground nuts. There are many places to visit near Chintamani including forts, temples, hills like kadu malleshwara temple (hill), Chintamani hills, most ancient Alambagiri venkataramana swamy temple etc.

Constituent college of VTU started with 4 Engineering branches namely CSE, AIML, ECE, EEE with an intake of 60 each and total intake is 240 students. Currently it is started in the Government Polytechnic, Campus, Chintamani with good facilities. Permanent Campus will come in a year for Constituent college of VTU in around 9.38 Acre of Land near Vadaganahalli Village, Kasaba Hobli, Chintamani Taluk.
