The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Centre for Post Graduate Studies Belagavi resides in Visvesvaraya Technological University, “Jnana Sangama” Main campus, Belagavi . The Department offers M.Tech. in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems at Belagavi Centre and Digital Electronics & Communication Systems and Ph.D at Muddenahalli and Mysuru Centres and Ph.D in all centres.
M.Tech program in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems is established in the year 2002 with an intake of 24 students. is equipped with qualified and experienced faculty members and state-of-the-art laboratory Infrastructure facilities. The department is committed to provide Core knowledge, Interpersonal and Communication skills, Analytical and Problem Solving skills, Creative thinking, Adaptability to rapid change in the Industry and Professional Ethics.
PG Center Mysuru
VTU CPGS Mysuru has started in the year 2011-12 in the regional centre of VTU Mysuru Region with good campus environment. The centre is imparting quality education through its established infrastructure and well qualified faculty members. Currently five M.Tech. PG courses are offered in the centre. It also offers MBA,MCA and Ph.D programs.
M.Tech. program Digital Electronics & Communication Engineering has been established in the academic year 2012 with an intake of 24 students. It is successful in producing skilled engineers ready to satisfy the needs of industry and society at large by incorporating qualified, accountable and caring workforce.

The Visvesvaraya Technological University, Post Graduate Centre, Bangalore Region, Muddenahalli has 200 acres campus located at Muddenahalli, Chikkaballapura (Dist). Muddenahalli is the birth place of great legend Bharat Ratna Sir M.Visvesvaraya. It has all necessary infrastructure required for imparting quality education throughits well-structured administrative and academic staff for overall development of student’s personality. Centre for PG Studies has five M.Tech. post graduate programs, MBA, MCA and Ph.D. All the departments have well qualified faculty.
