The VTU Centre for Post Graduation Studies (CPGS), Mysuru provides well-maintained hostel facilities for both boys and girls, designed to cater to students, many of whom come from rural areas. The institution strives to make their transition to campus life smooth and comfortable by offering a safe and homely environment. Separate hostels for boys and girls are available, with 24/7 supervision by wardens and security personnel. The boys’ hostel has a capacity of 177 students, the girls’ hostel can accommodate 112 students, and an additional 52 seats are reserved for SC/ST students. The hostels are situated away from the city’s hustle yet close enough to enjoy city attractions during weekends. Each hostel provides comfortable, well-ventilated rooms and offers 24/7 Wi-Fi access. Separate mess facilities ensure that hygienic and nutritious food is served daily. The hostels also encourage a vibrant community life, with regular cultural events, talent hunts, and literary activities. Students can participate in various sports and cultural clubs. The common rooms are equipped with LCD TVs, magazines, and newspapers, ensuring a well-rounded living experience.
