About VTU CPC: VTU is pioneer in imparting knowledge to keep our students job ready; at the same time VTU is extending its helping hand to the student community in finding out their dream job through ‘Central Placement Cell’ (CPC). CPC is committed to provide all possible assistance to the students of our PG centres, Constituent College (UBDTCE, Davanegere) and 219 affiliated engineering colleges (offering UG & PG programs in various disciplines of Engineering/Technology/Management) in their efforts to find employment. This commitment is demonstrated by VTU through the creation and functioning of Centralized Placement Cell. The CPC works for the mutual benefit of the students and organizations. CPC operates year round to facilitate contacts between companies and graduates. The CPC platform is not limited to the students of VTU, based on the requirements of the organizations that hire we extend this platform for the candidates at all India level.

Placement Process:
- Attracting Corporate to recruit from VTU PG Centres and affiliated colleges
- Negotiating with the corporate with respect to eligibility criteria, CTC etc
- Collecting JD and complete terms and conditions and based on that preparing drive template
- Communicating the drive with registration link among the students of all VTU affiliated colleges through the college TPO as well as uploading on VTU website
- Share the list of registered students to the recruiter
- Arranging infrastructure for conducting test/interview
- Communicating the test/interview details to the students
- Assisting the recruiter in conducting the test/interview
- Communicating the selection to concerned students and TPO
- Link between students and corporate until they join
