ABOUT DEPARTMENT

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering offers Master of Technology in VLSI Design & Embedded Systems at Belagavi Centre and Digital Electronics & Communication Systems at Muddenahalli and Mysuru Centres. It is equipped with qualified and experienced faculty members and state-of-the-art laboratory Infrastructure facilities. The department is committed to provide Core Knowledge, Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Analytical and Problem Solving Skills, Creative Thinking, Adaptability to rapid change in the Industry and Professional Ethics.
The department also offers Research Programme at Belagavi, Mysuru and Muddenahalli Centres. The Faculty Members of the department work in various Research areas such as VLSI Design, Optical Communication, Photonics, AI & Machine Learning, Software Defined Radio (SDR) etc. Also, the department has funded projects from Vision Group on Science and Technology (VGST). The department has a strong reputation of creating qualified and knowledgeable engineers who are ready to meet the demands of Industry and Society.
